Want to understand how to submit news tips or share a local event/classified on Patch Bloomfield? It’s easier than you think!

At Patch, we think that local news and information have the energy to unite a community. We also believe in giving neighbors the power to inform their own stories and help keep each other informed about what’s happening at the neighborhood level.

There are a few various ways to reach out.

Including small attachments is fine, but PLEASE include all important information directly in the body of your email (so it could be easily “cut and pasted”).
Add a single, high-quality photo or image (preferred format is a .jpg). Tell us who we have to credit for the photo (you need to own the rights or have permission to utilize it for a news article).

Due to high volumes of submissions, it’s not always possible to publish all releases or respond individually ? but we try our best!

Post a Neighbor Post

The Neighbor Posts section is a online community and social platform designed to connect you to other neighbors ? and also Patch reporters, local officials, nonprofits, businesses and experts in your area.

When california classifieds listings post in this section, your post can look at the top of the Neighbor Posts page. If it receives enough attention and engagement, it may likewise appear on the homepage for your community or in an email delivered to local readers.

You can also answer any posts you see on Patch, to greatly help answer your neighbors’ questions and take part in local discussions. We encourage neighbors ahead together to help each other understand their community better ? because Patch reporters can’t catch everything, and it takes a village to help keep track of what’s happening on the ground.

Always remember to keep your posts and replies local, clean, friendly and factual, commensurate with the Patch Community Guidelines. And to make Patch an improved place for neighbors, please flag any other posts or replies that don’t follow these rules.
